We are Singapore’s first social enterprise specialising in therapeutic garden design and therapeutic horticulture.

What is a Therapeutic Garden?

A Therapeutic Garden is an outdoor plant-dominated environment purposely designed based on specific user needs to encourage and facilitate plant-people interactions.

It is healing because its environment promotes the restoration of health to its user. It is enabling because it provides a setting that makes rehabilitation possible, practical and easy.

Therapeutic horticulture (TH) is a form of rehabilitation that can be conducted in a therapeutic garden. Using gardening and plant-based arts & crafts activities, TH intervention can improve the mental and physical wellbeing of the users in the garden.

1. We work with a wide range of clients, including healthcare and educational institutions. Our services cater to individuals of all ages, from children and young adults with special needs, to adults in trauma recovery programs, and even seniors, including those with dementia. Additionally, we offer wellness-focused therapeutic horticulture programs to various groups, including corporate organizations.

2. Our activities take place safe and supportive environment, such as in therapeutic gardens. These gardens have healing and restorative qualities that allow individuals to fully engage in the therapeutic experience.

3. Our programs and activities are tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of our clients. We use an evidence-based approach to plan, design, implement, and evaluate our programs.

4. Our facilitators have received professional certification in horticulture and horticultural therapy from both Singapore and international institutions. You can learn more about this profession here.
